10 days in Cleveland & Salt Lake City Itinerary

A culturally diverse city situated on the shores of Lake Erie, Cleveland boasts many places to visit, such as world-class museums, popular amusement parks, and sprawling recreational areas.

Venture out of the city with trips to Youngstown (Covelli Centre & Fellows Riverside Gardens), Sandusky (Holy Angels Catholic Church & Cedar Point) and Off The Wagon (in Kent). Detroit to Cleveland is an approximately 3-hour car ride. You can also take a bus; or fly. In June, plan for daily highs up to 77°F, and evening lows to 64°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 1st (Wed) so you can travel to Salt Lake City.

Take a break from Salt Lake City with a short trip to Doughnut Falls in North Salt Lake, about 46 minutes away. The adventure continues: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Temple Square, explore the stunning scenery at Big Cottonwood Canyon, admire the striking features of LDS Conference Center, and take in nature's colorful creations at Red Butte Garden.
