Mile-High City

Aptly nicknamed the "Mile-High City," Denver sits at an altitude of 1,600 m (5,280 ft) above sea level, located right where the Great Plains give way to the Rocky Mountains.
On the 18th (Thu), look and learn at Denver Museum of Nature & Science, snap pictures at Denver Millennium Bridge, and then steep yourself in history at Denver Union Station. On the next day, take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. John's Cathedral, then steep yourself in history at Grant-Humphreys Mansion, then admire the masterpieces at Denver Art Museum, and finally buy something for everyone on your list at 16th Street Mall.
