Hartford — 2 nights

Hartford is the capital of the U.S. state of Connecticut. Start off your visit on the 2nd (Fri): admire the masterpieces at New Britain Museum of American Art, take in nature's colorful creations at Elizabeth Park, and then contemplate the long history of The Mark Twain House & Museum. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: examine the collection at New England Air Museum, stroll around Wickham Park, and then step off the mainland to explore Thimble Islands.

Mystic — 4 nights

A historical leading seaport, Mystic has maintained a strong respect for the past.
Change things up with a short trip to Gillette Castle State Park in East Haddam (about 46 minutes away). There's lots more to do: take an in-depth tour of Mystic Seaport Museum, see the interesting displays at The Submarine Force Museum, steep yourself in history at Olde Mistick Village, and step aboard Charles W. Morgan.

Norwalk, is the sixth most populous city in the U.S. state of Connecticut. On the 8th (Thu), gain insight at Yale University, admire the masterpieces at Yale University Art Gallery, and then sample the tasty concoctions at Two Roads Brewing Company. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 9th (Fri): get a new perspective on nature at Bruce Museum, visit a coastal fixture at Sheffield Island Lighthouse, then meet the residents at The Maritime Aquarium, and finally relax and rejuvenate at Work It Dance and Fitness.
