Hartford — 1 night

Hartford is the capital of the U.S. state of Connecticut. On the 9th (Thu), stop by Thorncrest Farm and Milk House Chocolate, then delve into the lush surroundings at American Legion and Peoples State Forests, and then stroll through The Lodge at Crandall Park. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: get engrossed in the history at The Mark Twain House & Museum and then take in nature's colorful creations at Elizabeth Park.
