One of the country's most popular shopping destinations, Dallas and its sprawling suburbs include more shopping centers per capita than any other urban center in America.
Start off your visit on the 12th (Fri): test your team's savvy at The Escape Game Dallas. On the next day, admire the masterpieces at Crow Collection of Asian Art, explore the world behind art at Nasher Sculpture Center, then see the interesting displays at Perot Museum of Nature and Science, and finally examine the collection at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza.

New York City to Dallas is an approximately 6.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from New York City to Dallas. Traveling from New York City in July, expect Dallas to be somewhat warmer, temps between 96°F and 78°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 14th (Sun) early enough to travel to San Antonio.

As the state’s second largest city, San Antonio embodies Texas’ rich cultural heritage while maintaining the Old West charm of an oil town.
Get outdoors at Fischer & Wieser's Das Peach Haus and Landa Park. Get some cultural insight at Grape Creek Vineyards Fredericksburg and Admiral Nimitz State Historic Site. You'll find plenty of places to visit near San Antonio: Comal River (in New Braunfels) and Sister Creek Vineyards (in Sisterdale). There's lots more to do: get a taste of the local shopping with The San Antonio River Walk, take an in-depth tour of The Alamo, and explore the fascinating underground world of Natural Bridge Caverns.

Fly from Dallas to San Antonio in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In July, plan for daily highs up to 98°F, and evening lows to 75°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Wed) early enough to drive to Houston.

Although urban sprawl remains synonymous with Houston, most of the city's tourist attractions lie within the relatively small downtown area, surrounded by diverse neighborhoods housing the nation's biggest African-American, Asian-American, and Latino communities.
Get in touch with nature at Surfside Beach and Sunshine Farm. Get some cultural insight at Blue Bell Creameries and Children's Museum of Houston. Explore Houston's surroundings by going to Brazosport Museum of Natural Science (in Clute), Battleship Texas State Historic Site (in La Porte) and George Bush Presidential Library and Museum (in College Station). The adventure continues: examine the collection at Houston Museum District and admire the natural beauty at McGovern Centennial Gardens.
