Located just 140 km (90 mi) from Cuba, Key West is an island only about 6.4 km (4 mi) long and 1.6 km (1 mi) wide.
Kick off your visit on the 29th (Sat): get a new perspective on nature at Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center, brush up on your military savvy at U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Ingham Maritime Museum, and then view the masterpieces at 7 Artists & Friends Gallery. On your second day here, visit a coastal fixture at Key West Lighthouse and Keeper's Quarters Museum, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Saint Mary Star of the Sea, admire the natural beauty at Key West Garden Club, then take in the pleasant sights at West Martello Tower, and finally glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area.

A tiny city just 16 km (10 mi) long, Marathon is spread across several islands in the middle of the Florida Keys.
