A vast expanse of pristine wetlands, Everglades National Park holds the distinction of being the largest tropical wilderness in the U.S.

Edmonton, Canada to Everglades National Park is an approximately 15.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and bus; or take a train. Traveling from Edmonton to Everglades National Park, you'll lose 2 hours due to the time zone difference. In January, Everglades National Park is warmer than Edmonton - with highs of 29°C and lows of 22°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 3rd (Sun) early enough to catch the bus to Key Largo.

Traveling by bus from Everglades National Park to Key Largo takes 2.5 hours. Traveling from Everglades National Park in January, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit cooler in Key Largo, with lows of 19°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 4th (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Miami Beach.

Separated by water from the neighboring city of Miami, Miami Beach sits on a barrier island between Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

Kick off your visit on the 5th (Tue): kick back and relax at South Beach, wander the streets of Art Deco Historic District, then explore the world behind art at The Wolfsonian - Florida International University, and finally wander the streets of Lincoln Road.

You can drive from Key Largo to Miami Beach in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a bus. In January, plan for daily highs up to 29°C, and evening lows to 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Tue) to allow enough time to travel to Key West.

Located just 140 km (90 mi) from Cuba, Key West is an island only about 6.4 km (4 mi) long and 1.6 km (1 mi) wide.

On the 6th (Wed), stroll the grounds of Key West Cemetery, browse the exhibits of Truman Little White House, see the interesting displays at The Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum, then identify plant and animal life at Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory, and finally take a memorable tour with Tours.

Traveling by flight from Miami Beach to Key West takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 28°C in January, and nighttime lows around 22°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Wed) so you can travel to Orlando.

For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.

Kids will appreciate attractions like Universal's Islands of Adventure and Harry P. Leu Gardens. Pack the 10th (Sun) with family-friendly diversions at Universal Orlando Resort. Prepare for a bit cooler weather when traveling from Key West in January: high temperatures in Orlando hover around 25°C and lows are around 13°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 10th (Sun) to allow time to travel back home.
