Venice of America
Known as the "Venice of America" because of its extensive network of navigable waterways, Fort Lauderdale welcomes over 10 million annual visitors, most of them attracted by the city's popular beaches and marinas.You'll find plenty of places to visit near Fort Lauderdale: Miami (Bayside Marketplace & Wynwood Walls) and Miami Beach (Ocean Drive, Art Deco Historic District, &more). There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Fort Lauderdale Beach, browse the different shops at Las Olas Boulevard, stroll through Fort Lauderdale Beach Park, and examine the collection at Bonnet House Museum and Gardens.

The capital city of Virginia, Richmond has diverse architecture, a large collection of monuments, and world-class museums that reveal the city's important role in American history.Venture out of the city with trips to Washington DC (White House, Washington Monument, &more) and Williamsburg (Jamestown Settlement & Colonial Williamsburg).
