You can drive from Gettysburg to Philadelphia in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of flight, bus, and train. In May in Philadelphia, expect temperatures between 74°F during the day and 56°F at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Sat) so you can travel back home.
