The city of Hood River is the seat of Hood River County, Oregon, United States. On the 3rd (Sun), relax in the rural setting at The Gorge White House, learn about winemaking at Mt. Hood Winery, then see the interesting displays at Columbia Gorge Discovery Center, then learn about winemaking at Cascade Cliffs Vineyard & Winery, and finally do a tasting at Sunshine Mill. On the next day, let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour, then contemplate the waterfront views at White Salmon River, and then identify plant and animal life at Tom McCall Nature Preserve.

A big city with a small-town feel, Portland is home to the country's biggest rose test garden, perched on a hill overlooking downtown.
You'll explore and learn at Flavel House Museum and Tillamook Air Museum. Do some cultural sightseeing at Oregon Garden and Pearl District. Explore Portland's surroundings by going to Seaside (Camp 18 Logging Museum & Restaurant & Beach Books), Cannon Beach (Haystack Rock, Oswald West State Park, & more) and Astoria-Megler Bridge (in Astoria). Dedicate the 10th (Sun) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area.
