Maine's biggest and perhaps most vibrant city, Portland was established as a fishing village in 1633 and grew to become New England's largest port.
On the 8th (Sat), explore the engaging exhibits at Children's Museum and Theatre of Maine, then indulge your thirst for a good beer at Bissell Brothers Brewing Company, then play a few rounds at Pirate's Cove, and finally cool off at Old Orchard Beach.
