Hana

— 3 nights
Hana is one of the most isolated communities in Hawaii, with a permanent population of just over 1,000 people.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Pipiwai Trail and Hana Fresh. Get in touch with nature at Red Sand Beach - Kaihalulu Beach and Waimoku Falls. Go for a jaunt from Hana to Kula to see Wailua Valley State Wayside Park about 44 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: identify plant and animal life at Pools at Ohe'o, stop by Hana Tropicals, take in the dramatic natural features at Ke‘anae Point, and take in the exciting artwork at Hana Coast Gallery.

For ratings, where to stay, traveler tips, and more tourist information, go to the Hana trip planner.
