Stretching over 9.7 km (6 mi) of pristine south Maui coastline, Kihei is the island's driest and sunniest region, making it a perfect location for water activities and beach leisure.
Get outdoors at Hana Highway - Road to Hana and Kapalua Beach. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Ka'anapali Beach and Napili Beach. Explore Kihei's surroundings by going to Hosmer's Grove (in Kula), Haleakala Crater (in Haleakala National Park) and Ho'okipa Beach Park (in Paia). There's much more to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas, see the world from above with a helicopter tour, walk around Lahaina Banyan Court, and get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Maui Ocean Center.
