Situated on the westernmost point of the Lake Superior, Duluth represents a booming port city.
Bring the kids along to Minnesota's North Shore Scenic Drive and Gooseberry Falls State Park. Step out of Duluth with an excursion to Split Rock Lighthouse in Two Harbors--about 58 minutes away. There's lots more to do: snap pictures at Aerial Lift Bridge, walk around Canal Park, get to know the fascinating history of Lakewalk, and stroll through Hawk Ridge Bird Observatory.
