You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Medgar Evers Home and Eudora Welty House and Garden. Explore Jackson's surroundings by going to Vicksburg (The Old Depot Museum, Jesse Brent Lower Mississippi River Museum and Interpretive Center, & more). On the 15th (Tue), examine the collection at Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum, explore the world behind art at Walter Anderson Museum of Art, then don't miss a visit to Hurricane Katrina Memorial, and finally explore the different monuments and memorials at Old Biloxi Cemetery. On the 16th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: see the interesting displays at Ocean Springs Museum of History, then stroll around Jones Park, then have fun and explore at Lynn Meadows Discovery Center, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St. Michael's Catholic Church.
