Start off your visit on the 20th (Tue): explore the engaging exhibits at Explora Science Center and Children's Museum of Albuquerque, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at San Felipe de Neri Church, and then visit Albuquerque Old Town. On the next day, see the interesting displays at The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History, take in the dramatic natural features at Petroglyph National Monument, then learn more about the world around you at Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, and finally look for gifts at Skip Maisel's.

You'll find plenty of places to visit near Santa Fe: Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument (in Cochiti Pueblo) and Taos (Taos Pueblo & Rio Grande Gorge Bridge). You can drive from Albuquerque to Santa Fe in an hour. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. Traveling from Albuquerque in August, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit cooler in Santa Fe, with lows of 57°F. On the 25th (Sun), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
