On the 2nd (Fri), cruise along Singing Road, then steep yourself in history at Historical Center for Southeast New Mexico, then view the masterpieces at Tokay Beaded Art, and finally view the masterpieces at Hurd-LaRinconada Gallery. On the next day, take a memorable drive along Pecos River, then take an in-depth tour of Artesia Historical Museum & Art Center, and then appreciate the history behind Street Sculptures.

Traveling from Albuquerque in August, things will get little chillier in Taos: highs are around 30°C and lows about 11°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Wed) to allow time to drive to Santa Fe.
