Kick off your visit on the 22nd (Mon): stroll through Kerry Park and then appreciate the extensive heritage of Pioneer Square. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: examine the collection at The Museum of Flight, then explore the world behind art at Chihuly Garden and Glass, then enjoy breathtaking views from Space Needle, and finally wander the streets of Pike Place Market.

Escape the urban bustle at Columbia River Maritime Museum and Fort Clatsop National Memorial. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Ecola State Park and Astoria-Megler Bridge. Go for a jaunt from Astoria to Cannon Beach to see Cannon Beach about 44 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: pause for some photo ops at Astoria Column, look for gifts at Beach Books, and admire the majestic nature at Fort Stevens State Park.
