Located near the memorial park marking the site of one of the largest Civil War battles, the town of Gettysburg sits in a landscape of rolling green hills with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Little Round Top and Victorian Photography Studio. Step out of Gettysburg to go to Carlisle and see United States Army Heritage and Education Center (USAHEC), which is approximately 44 minutes away.
