Known primarily for its steel-related heritage and 446 bridges, Pittsburgh sits at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, which meet to form the Ohio River.
Kick off your visit on the 4th (Sun): examine the collection at Center for PostNatural History and then wander the streets of Mount Washington. On the 5th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: admire the natural beauty at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, then get a new perspective on nature at Carnegie Museum of Natural History, and then examine the collection at Bicycle Heaven.

Located near the memorial park marking the site of one of the largest Civil War battles, the town of Gettysburg sits in a landscape of rolling green hills with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance.
Kick off your visit on the 6th (Tue): stroll the grounds of Gettysburg National Cemetery, steep yourself in history at Eisenhower National Historic Site, then take in the history at Gettysburg National Military Park, and finally take a pleasant ride with Confederate Trails of Gettysburg. Here are some ideas for day two: get to know the fascinating history of Shriver House Museum, take an in-depth tour of Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center, explore the galleries of Jennie Wade House, then see the interesting displays at Gettysburg Museum of History, and finally steep yourself in history at Dobbin House Tavern.

You've now added Hersheypark to your itinerary. Start off your visit on the 8th (Thu): get in on the family fun at Hersheypark.
