San Juan — 2 nights

Founded by the Spanish in 1521, San Juan is the oldest city under U.S. jurisdiction and one of the oldest in the Americas.
On the 18th (Wed), soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers, admire the masterpieces at Walter Otero Contemporary Art, examine the collection at Museo del Mar, stop by Ole Puerto Rico, then browse the exhibits of Galeria Botello, and finally get some fabulous bargains at Coach Outlet Store. On the 19th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: admire the local landmark of Roots Fountain, take in the exciting artwork at Depigment Art, then try your luck at Old San Juan Casino, then make a trip to Plaza Colon, and finally make a trip to Holocaust Memorial Monument.

Isabela — 3 nights

Isabela is a municipality of Puerto Rico (U.S.) located in the north-western region of the island, north of San Sebastián; west of Quebradillas; and east of Aguadilla and Moca. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Playa Rompe Olas and Survival Beach. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at The Old Aguadilla Lighthouse Ruins and Pozo de Jacinto. There's still lots to do: explore the landscape on two wheels at Paseo Lineal, make a trip to Monumento al Cacique Mabodamaca, stroll through Montones Beach, and enjoy the sand and surf at Shacks Beach.
