San Juan — 2 nights

Founded by the Spanish in 1521, San Juan is the oldest city under U.S. jurisdiction and one of the oldest in the Americas.
Start off your visit on the 23rd (Mon): relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers, take in the exciting artwork at Walter Otero Contemporary Art, examine the collection at Museo del Mar, look for gifts at Ole Puerto Rico, then view the masterpieces at Galeria Botello, and finally revel in the low prices at Coach Outlet Store. On the 24th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: ponder the design of Roots Fountain, get a taste of the local shopping with Depigment Art, then try your luck at Old San Juan Casino, then pause for some photo ops at Plaza Colon, and finally appreciate the history behind Holocaust Memorial Monument.

Isabela is a municipality of Puerto Rico (U.S.) located in the north-western region of the island, north of San Sebastián; west of Quebradillas; and east of Aguadilla and Moca. Escape the urban bustle at Paseo Lineal and Survival Beach. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at The Old Aguadilla Lighthouse Ruins and Pozo de Jacinto. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Playa Rompe Olas, don't miss a visit to Monumento al Cacique Mabodamaca, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Shacks Beach.
