San Juan — 2 nights

Founded by the Spanish in 1521, San Juan is the oldest city under U.S. jurisdiction and one of the oldest in the Americas.
Start off your visit on the 29th (Fri): soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers, admire the masterpieces at Walter Otero Contemporary Art, examine the collection at Museo del Mar, stop by Ole Puerto Rico, then take in the exciting artwork at Galeria Botello, and finally get some fabulous bargains at Coach Outlet Store. Isabela is a municipality of Puerto Rico (U.S.) located in the north-western region of the island, north of San Sebastián; west of Quebradillas; and east of Aguadilla and Moca. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to The Old Aguadilla Lighthouse Ruins and Playa Rompe Olas. Step out of the city life by going to Survival Beach and Pozo de Jacinto. Next up on the itinerary: grab your bike and head to Paseo Lineal, stroll through Shacks Beach, make a trip to Monumento al Cacique Mabodamaca, and enjoy the sand and surf at Montones Beach.
