Kick off your visit on the 9th (Tue): get to know the fascinating history of Sitio Histórico de San Juan, thenget to know the fascinating history of Old San Juan, and then make a trip to Paseo de la Princesa. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: scramble along the landscape with a canyoning and rapelling tour and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Luquillo Beach.

Isla de Vieques

For sixty years until 2003, most of the Isla de Vieques was closed off to the public, with the US Navy using the island's beaches and surrounding waters for drills and testing of new military machinery, such as bombs.
Visit Sun Bay Beach and Caracas Beach for some beach relaxation. Popular historic sites such as Puerto Ferro Lighthouse and Isabel Segunda are in your itinerary. There's lots more to do: see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, take an in-depth tour of Fortin Conde de Mirasol Museum, delve into the distant past at El Hombre de Puerto Ferro, and view the masterpieces at Serenity Point Yoga & Visionary Arts Space.

Fly from San Juan to Isla de Vieques in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of shuttle and ferry.
