Alta — 2 nights

Kick off your visit on the 14th (Sat): trek along Cecret Lake Trail and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Alta Ski Area. On the next day, admire the sheer force of Doughnut Falls and then fly down the slopes at Solitude Mountain Resort.

Traveling by car from Salt Lake City to Alta takes an hour. Traveling from Salt Lake City in March, expect little chillier with lows of 25°F in Alta. Finish your sightseeing early on the 15th (Sun) so you can drive back home.
