If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major airport is Albuquerque International Sunport. In July in Santa Fe, expect temperatures between 36°C during the day and 18°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 7th (Sun) early enough to go by car to Cerrillos.

Los Cerrillos is a census-designated place (CDP) in Santa Fe County, New Mexico, United States. Kick off your visit on the 8th (Mon): cruise along Turquoise Trail and then take in the dramatic natural features at Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument.

You can drive from Santa Fe to Cerrillos in an hour. In July, plan for daily highs up to 36°C, and evening lows to 18°C. You will leave for Taos on the 9th (Tue).
