Georgia's oldest city, Savannah displays its colonial history proudly on every corner.

Fly from Savannah to Birmingham in 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Savannah to Birmingham. Traveling from Savannah in December, expect Birmingham to be a bit cooler, temps between 59°F and 41°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Wed) to allow enough time to drive to New Orleans.
