Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Escape the urban bustle at Puget Sound Express and Alki Beach. Visit Seahurst Beach Park and Marina Beach Park for some beach relaxation. Dedicate the 4th (Sat) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. The adventure continues: wander the streets of Pike Place Market, get a taste of the local shopping with Pioneer Square, see the interesting displays at Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience, and stop by Glasshouse Studio.
