Known as the capital of country music, the thriving city of Nashville combines old-world southern charm with a progressive urban flair.
Start off your visit on the 17th (Mon): stroll around Radnor Lake State Park. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 18th (Tue): make a trip to The District, then glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, and finally sample the fine beverages at Nelson's Green Brier Distillery.

A tiny town with big tourist appeal, Pigeon Forge bills itself as the "Center of Fun in the Smokies." Just a short drive from the national park protecting the diverse plant and animal life of the Great Smoky Mountains, the town features numerous places to visit, such as bars, restaurants, cafes, theaters, and shops.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Tennessee Legend Distillery - Newport Hwy and Sandman's Workshop. Get outdoors at Forbidden Caverns and Zipline. Change things up with a short trip to Ijams Nature Center in Knoxville (about 40 minutes away). There's lots more to do: learn about winemaking at Mill Bridge Winery, get in on the family fun at The Coaster at Goats on the Roof, meet the residents at Smoky Mountain Deer Farm & Exotic Petting Zoo, and appreciate the extensive heritage of Old Forge Distillery.
