Live Music Capital of the World

Despite its laid-back college vibe, Austin is an influential center for politics, technology, film, and music.
Texas State Capitol and St. Mary's Cathedral will appeal to history buffs. Head to 6th Street and Central Marketfor some retail therapy. Step out of Austin to go to San Marcos and see San Marcos Premium Outlets, which is approximately 48 minutes away.
