Although urban sprawl remains synonymous with Houston, most of the city's tourist attractions lie within the relatively small downtown area, surrounded by diverse neighborhoods housing the nation's biggest African-American, Asian-American, and Latino communities.
On the 28th (Thu), admire all the interesting features of Minute Maid Park, then stroll through Houston Zoo, and then admire all the interesting features of Water Wall. Keep things going the next day: admire the masterpieces at Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, admire the masterpieces at The Menil Collection, and then test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms.

Start off your visit on the 2nd (Sat): stroll through Lady Bird Lake Hike-and-Bike Trail, then ponder the world of politics at Texas State Capitol, and then get your game on at The Escape Game Austin. As the state’s second largest city, San Antonio embodies Texas’ rich cultural heritage while maintaining the Old West charm of an oil town.
Kick off your visit on the 4th (Mon): Head underground at Natural Bridge Caverns, then take in the history at Mission San Jose, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at San Fernando De Bexar Cathedral. On the next day, take an in-depth tour of The Alamo, stroll through Friedrich Wilderness Park, and then learn about all things military at National Museum of the Pacific War.

On the 6th (Wed), see the interesting displays at Mingei International Museum. On your second day here, appreciate the history behind Cabrillo National Monument and then stroll through San Diego Zoo.

The time zone changes from Central Standard Time to Pacific Standard Time, which is usually a -2 hour difference. While traveling from San Antonio, expect little chillier days and about the same nights in San Diego, ranging from highs of 24°C to lows of 15°C.
