Fewer than 400 people call Keystone home year-round, but the population explodes in summer when crowds flock to nearby Mount Rushmore.The Museum @ Black Hills Institute and Keystone Historical Museum will appeal to museum buffs. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Angostura Recreation Area and Professor Samuel's Portrait Emporium. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Keystone: Four Mile Old West Town (in Custer) and Mammoth Site of Hot Springs (in Hot Springs).
