Cedar Rapids — 1 night

Cedar Rapids is the second largest city in Iowa and is the county seat of Linn County. Start off your visit on the 4th (Sun): steep yourself in history at Herbert Hoover National Historic Site, get lost in a book at Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum, and then immerse yourself in nature at Lake Macbride State Park. On the next day, see the interesting displays at National Motorcycle Museum and then make a trip to Brucemore.

Wall is a town in Pennington County, South Dakota, United States. Fewer than 400 people call Keystone home year-round, but the population explodes in summer when crowds flock to nearby Mount Rushmore.
Start off your visit on the 8th (Thu): browse for treasures at The Farmer's Daughter, get a new perspective on nature at The Museum @ Black Hills Institute, explore the striking landscape of Mount Rushmore National Memorial, then contemplate the waterfront views at Horse Thief Lake, and finally see the world from above with Black Hills Helicopters. On your second day here, take a pleasant ride with The Stables at Palmer Gulch, then take in the awesome beauty at Black Elk Peak, and then hike along Little Devil's Tower Trail.
