Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
You've added Pike Place Market, Kerry Park, Gas Works Park, and other attractions to your itinerary. On the 16th (Fri), enjoy the sand and surf at Alki Beach and then take in panoramic vistas at Smith Tower. On the 17th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: enjoy breathtaking views from Space Needle, stroll around Kerry Park, then get in on the family fun at Seattle Great Wheel, and finally wander the streets of Pike Place Market.
