Cambria is a seaside village in San Luis Obispo County, California, United States midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles along California State Route 1 (Highway 1). On the 2nd (Sun), relax and rejuvenate at Therapy by the Sea, then view the masterpieces at Artifacts Gallery, then hike along Bluff Trail, and finally stroll around Shamel Park. Keep things going the next day: explore the different monuments and memorials at Cambria Cemetery, paddle through the water with Kayak Outfitters, then immerse yourself in nature at Leffingwell Landing, and finally take a pleasant ride with a tour on horseback.

Los Angeles to Cambria is an approximately 4.5-hour car ride. You can also drive; or fly; or do a combination of train, taxi, and bus. Traveling from Los Angeles in August, expect nights in Cambria to be slightly colder, around 55°F, while days are somewhat warmer, around 94°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Tue) early enough to go by car to Big Sur.

Cap off your sightseeing on the 5th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Carmel.

Carmel-by-the-Sea, often simply called Carmel, is a city in Monterey County, California, United States, founded in 1902 and incorporated on October 31, 1916. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Carmel River State Beach and Garrapata State Park.
