Mackinac Island — 2 nights

Start off your visit on the 30th (Thu): examine the collection at Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, then get engrossed in the history at Whitefish Point Light, and then immerse yourself in nature at Tahquamenon Falls State Park.

Manistique, formerly Monistique, is the only incorporated city in and the county seat of Schoolcraft County of the U.S. state of Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
