Woodstock — 3 nights

Woodstock is the shire town of Windsor County, Vermont, United States. Shop till you drop at DaVallia Gallery & Boutique and Simon Pearce Mill. Billings Farm & Museum and Montshire Museum of Science are good opportunities to explore the local culture. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Woodstock: Okemo Mountain Resort (in Ludlow) and Killington (Green Mountain National Golf Course & Killington Resort). There's much more to do: indulge your thirst for a good beer at Harpoon Brewery, snap pictures at Quechee Bridge, and wander the streets of Artisans Park.

Burlington is the most populous city in the U.S. state of Vermont and the seat of Chittenden County. Shop till you drop at Church Street Marketplace and Vintage Photography Emporium. Get outdoors at 3rd Alarm Charters & Guide Service and Stowe Recreation Path. Venture out of the city with trips to Eden Dogsledding (in Eden Mills), Stowe Mountain Resort (in Stowe) and Smugglers' Notch Distillery Tasting Room (in Waterbury Center). And it doesn't end there: learn the secrets of beer at a beer tour and tasting, indulge your thirst for a good beer at Magic Hat Brewing Company, and see the interesting displays at Shelburne Museum.
