The capital of the United States, the District of Columbia contains the lion's share of the country's most treasured monuments, memorials, and public museums.
You've added United States Capitol, National Mall, Washington Monument, and other attractions to your itinerary. Start off your visit on the 30th (Tue): appreciate the history behind Jefferson Memorial. Los Angeles to Washington DC is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or drive.
