Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Start off your visit on the 1st (Thu): take a stroll through Pioneer Square and then admire the masterpieces at Chihuly Garden and Glass. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 2nd (Fri): examine the collection at The Museum of Flight, then admire the masterpieces at Seattle Art Museum, and then wander the streets of Pike Place Market.

Visiting Ruby Beach and Hurricane Ridge will get you outdoors. Step out of Olympic National Park to go to Quinault and see Merriman Falls, which is approximately 1 hour away. There's still lots to do: hike along Second Beach Trail, delve into the lush surroundings at Olympic National Park, tour the pleasant surroundings at Ozette Loop Hike, and take a memorable drive along Olympic Peninsula Loop Drive.
