A big city with a small-town feel, Portland is home to the country's biggest rose test garden, perched on a hill overlooking downtown.
Start off your visit on the 18th (Fri): admire the landmark architecture of Pittock Mansion, take in nature's colorful creations at International Rose Test Garden, then take in nature's colorful creations at Portland Japanese Garden, and finally take a peaceful walk through The Grotto - National Sanctuary of Our Sorrowful Mother.
