Orange Beach exists solely as a tourist beach town, with a permanent population of less than 6,000.Step out of Orange Beach with an excursion to Fort Morgan Historic Site in Fort Morgan--about 44 minutes away. There's lots more to do: get a new perspective on things with Boat Tours & Water Sports, get some fabulous bargains at Tanger Outlets Foley, enjoy the sand and surf at Gulf State Park, and see the interesting displays at Indian & Sea Museum.
