Salmon Capital of the World

The narrow city of Ketchikan clings to the bluffs that form Revillagigedo Island's southwestern shore.
Get in touch with nature at Misty Fjords National Monument and Totem Bight State Historical Park. There's still lots to do: appreciate the extensive heritage of Creek Street, get engrossed in the history at Tongass Historical Museum, look for gifts at The Rain Barrel, and see the interesting displays at Dolly's House Museum.

Sitka

The City and Borough of Sitka, formerly Novo-Arkhangelsk, or New Archangel under Russian rule, is a unified city-borough located on Baranof Island and the southern half of Chichagof Island in the Alexander Archipelago of the Pacific Ocean (part of the Alaska Panhandle), in the U.S. On the 10th (Wed), take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Michael's Cathedral, then appreciate the extensive heritage of Sitka National Historic Park/Totem Park, and then admire the striking features of Russian Bishop's House. On the next day, pause for some serene contemplation at Sitka Lutheran Church, look for all kinds of wild species at Alaska Raptor Center, and then examine the collection at Sheldon Jackson Museum.

Do a combination of ferry and flight from Ketchikan to Sitka in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can ride a ferry. In February in Sitka, expect temperatures between 42°F during the day and 33°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel to Homer.

Homer is a city located in Kenai Peninsula Borough in the U.S. On the 12th (Fri), examine the collection at Pratt Museum, appreciate the history behind Seafarer's Memorial, then grab your bike and head to Homer Spit, and finally sample the tasty concoctions at Grace Ridge Brewery.
