Founded in 1877 as a mining camp, Tombstone became one of the most storied towns of the "Wild West." As one of the last frontier boomtowns in the United States, Tombstone prospered between 1880 and 1890, attracting cattle rustlers and outlaws.
Start off your visit on the 15th (Fri): take an in-depth tour of Tombstone's Historama, then see the interesting displays at Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park, and then steep yourself in history at Allen Street. On your second day here, contemplate the long history of The Tombstone Epitaph, examine the collection at Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum, then examine the collection at Rose Tree Museum and Books, and finally do a tasting at Silver Strike Winery.

Despite its relatively small size, Sedona overflows with tourist appeal.
V-Bar-V Heritage Site and Jerome State Historic Park are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Visit Amitabha Stupa & Peace Park and Palatki Ruins for their historical value.
