Red Rock Country

Despite its relatively small size, Sedona overflows with tourist appeal.
Fort Verde State Historic Park and V-Bar-V Heritage Site will appeal to history buffs. Get some cultural insight at Amitabha Stupa & Peace Park and Tuzigoot National Monument. Venture out of the city with trips to Clarkdale (Arizona Copper Art Museum & Clarkdale National Historic District & Townsite) and Jerome State Historic Park (in Jerome). And it doesn't end there: soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers, do a tasting at Burning Tree Cellars Tasting Room, and take in the exciting artwork at Village Gallery of Local Artists.

Cincinnati to Sedona is an approximately 9-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time (EST) to Mountain Standard Time (MST), which is usually a -2 hour difference. When traveling from Cincinnati in July, plan for a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Sedona: temperatures range from 92°F by day to 69°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 28th (Tue) to allow time to drive to Prescott.

City of Seven Wonders

Sitting at an elevation of 2,135 m (7,000 ft) and just a short trip from the Grand Canyon and other natural wonders, the city of Flagstaff attracts outdoor enthusiasts from around the world.
Wupatki National Monument and Homolovi State Park are good opportunities to explore the local culture. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Lava River Cave and Rock Art Canyon Ranch. Step out of Flagstaff with an excursion to Standin' on the Corner Park in Winslow--about 1 hour away. Next up on the itinerary: learn about all things military at Fort Tuthill Military Museum.
