The Capital of the South

Georgia’s largest city and capital, Atlanta is a thriving metropolis anchored by its southern roots.
Kids will enjoy National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center and Fox Theatre. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Atlanta: Chattanooga (Walnut Street Bridge, Tennessee Aquarium, &more), Build an Ark Animal Rescue (in Ellijay) and Columbus Riverwalk (in Columbus). On the 6th (Mon), give your taste buds a day to remember with a local gastronomic tour. There's lots more to do: meet the residents at Georgia Aquarium, test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms, look and learn at Tellus Science Museum, and see the interesting displays at World of Coca-Cola.
