The gambling capital of the east coast, Atlantic City is best known for its numerous casinos, colorful boardwalk, and beach.
You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Cape May City Beaches and Ship Bottom Beach. Museum-lovers will get to explore Atlantic City Historical Museum and World War II Lookout Tower. Get out of town with these interesting Atlantic City side-trips: Cape May Carriage (in Cape May), The Wetlands Institute (in Stone Harbor) and Hawk Haven Vineyard and Winery (in Rio Grande). There's lots more to do: identify plant and animal life at Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, make a trip to Lucy the Elephant, and do a tasting at Turdo Vineyards & Winery.

Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Take a break from the city and head to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and Waterskiing & Jetskiing. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Shelby American Inc and Willow Beach. There's much more to do: get a taste of the local shopping with The Strip, look for all kinds of wild species at Lake Mead National Recreation Area, admire the natural beauty at Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, and see the interesting displays at The Mob Museum.
