Attractions like The Art Institute of Chicago and Millennium Park make great kid-friendly stops. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Atwater Park & Beach and Whihala Beach. Venture out of the city with trips to Rosewood Beach (in Highland Park), Milwaukee (Black Cat Alley & North Point Water Tower) and Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple (in Aurora). Kick off your visit on the 28th (Sun): glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, tour the pleasant surroundings at Hammocks Beach State Park, and then try for a hole-in-one at MacDaddy's Entertainment Center. On the 29th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: walk around Riverfront Park, Swansboro, NC, then stop by Candy Edventure, and then try for a hole-in-one at The Golfin Dolphin.
