Cody

— 10 nights

Preferred Gateway to Yellowstone

A genuine cowboy city, Cody is famous for its nightly rodeos and its proximity to the protected wilderness areas of the world's first national park, now designated as one of the country's World Heritage Sites.
Escape the urban bustle at Beartooth Hwy and S Rim Trail. Museum-lovers will get to explore Buffalo Bill Center of the West and Draper Natural History Museum. Get out of town with these interesting Cody side-trips: Thermopolis (Wind River Canyon, Hot Springs County Museum, &more), Yellowstone National Park (Brink of the Lower Falls Trail, The 45th Parallel, &more) and Pryor Mountain Wild Mustang Center (in Lovell). There's lots more to do: examine the collection at Cody Firearms Museum, get engrossed in the history at Historic Cody Mural and Museum, stop by Homesteader Museum, and look for all kinds of wild species at Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Range.

To see ratings, reviews, other places to visit, and other tourist information, refer to the Cody driving holiday planner.
