Breckenridge — 2 nights

Colorado's Kingdom

Founded in 1859 as part of the Gold Rush in the Rockies, Breckenridge boasts a main street lined with colorful wooden storefronts housing cafes and shops, giving the effect of a thriving western town from the 19th century.

Start off your visit on the 31st (Fri): soar above the sights with Colorado Hot Air Balloon Rides, admire all the interesting features of Boreas Pass Road, and then glide through natural beauty at Sally Barber Mine Trail. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 1st (Sat) early enough to drive to Frisco.

The Town of Frisco is a Home Rule Municipality in Summit County, Colorado, United States. Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Sun): enjoy some diversion at Silverthorne Recreation Center, trek along Lily Pad Lake, and then go for a stroll along the water at Frisco Bay Marina. On the next day, take in the waterfront activity at Dillon Marina, then contemplate the waterfront views at Keystone Lake, and then contemplate the long history of Hotel de Paris Museum.

Originally built as a base for Vail Ski Resort, the town of Vail has blossomed into its own destination, but still has less than 6,000 permanent residents.
Start off your visit on the 4th (Tue): wander the streets of Vail Valley, have some family-friendly fun at Vail Valley Escape Room, and then hike along Booth Falls Trail. On the next day, examine the collection at Colorado Snowsports Museum and Hall of Fame, take in the spiritual surroundings of Beaver Creek Chapel, and then stroll through Vail / Beaver Creek Resort.
