Western Museum of Mining and Industry and ProRodeo Hall of Fame will appeal to museum buffs. Kids will appreciate attractions like Glen Eyrie Castle and Garden of the Gods. Explore Colorado Springs' surroundings by going to Divide (Mueller State Park & Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center). There's lots more to do: stroll around North Cheyenne Canon Park, get interesting insight from Tours, see the interesting displays at Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center, and admire the masterpieces at Michael Garman Museum & Gallery.

On the 19th (Mon), examine the collection at Forney Museum of Transportation, pause for some serene contemplation at Trinity United Methodist Church, explore the landscape on two wheels at Cherry Creek Trail, then contemplate the long history of Center for Colorado Women's History at the Byers-Evans House, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

Known as a ski resort town, Aspen's history goes back to its roots as a silver-mining village tucked away in an isolated valley of the Rocky Mountains.
